NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
NOTE:
The PMI process must begin with the current GPSM installed. If the
current GPSM does not respond to the diagnostic scan tool, the tool may
prompt for As-Built Date as part of the repair.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the GPSM following the on-screen instructions.

Remove the rear view mirror cover.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Release the clips and remove the GPSM .

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the GPSM following the on-screen instructions.

Remove the front door trim panel.

Tire Pressure Monitor (TPMS)
Activation
NOTE:
Before performing the TPMS sensor location
calibration, have the vehicle parked at least 2 meter away from any
other vehicle equipped with TPMS to avoid activating other TPMS sensors...
Deactivation
Place the ignition in the OFF position.
Verify the battery is fully charged.
Refer to: Battery (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Diagnosis and Testing).
Place the ignition in the ON position...

If the fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
Master Cylinder
NOTE:
When a new brake master cylinder has been installed, it
should be primed to prevent air from entering the system.
NOTE:
Make sure the area around the master cylinder cap is clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.
