Ford Fiesta: Climate Control System - General Information / Air Distribution Door Actuator. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

Remove the driver knee airbag.
Refer to: Driver Knee Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainers and the air distribution door actuator.

NOTE:
If replacing the air distribution door actuating assembly, perform the following steps.
Remove the climate control housing - vehicles with: EATC and remove the climate control housing - vehicles with: EMTC .

Remove the retainers and the air distribution door actuator.

Remove the retainers and the air distribution door actuating assembly.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
When installing the air distribution door actuating
assembly, make sure that each air distribution door gear or lever is
correctly aligned with the actuating assembly.
Inspect each air distribution door gear or lever is correctly aligned with the actuating assembly.
