Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
To prevent setting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), make
sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting
the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the nuts and the accelerator pedal assembly.
Torque:
177 lb.in (20 Nm)

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
The ABS sensor
rings are built into the seals in the front wheel bearings. They must be
checked during servicing to ensure they are correctly positioned.

Remove the driver seat.
Refer to: Front Seat (501-10 Seating, Removal and Installation).
Remove the parking brake cable adjustment lock nut.

Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut.
