Ford Fiesta: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control / Front Wheel Speed Sensor. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

Remove the retainers.
-
Position aside the fender splash shield.

Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
-
Detach the wiring retainers.
-

NOTE:
Make sure that the sensor housing is clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the bolt and detach the front wheel speed sensor from the wheel knuckle.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)

NOTE:
Note the position of the component before removal.
Detach the wiring retainers.

NOTE:
Make sure the alignment line is not twisted during installation.
Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Master Cylinder
NOTE:
When a new brake master cylinder has been installed, it
should be primed to prevent air from entering the system.
NOTE:
Make sure the area around the master cylinder cap is clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap.
