Ford Fiesta: Interior Trim and Ornamentation / B-Pillar Trim Panel. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
LH side shown, RH side similar.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
To avoid damage to the trim panels, remove any retaining
clips from the body and attach them to the trim panels before
installing.

Position aside the front door and the rear door weather strip.

Release the clips and remove the front door and the rear door scuffplate trim panels.
-
Release the clips and remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.

NOTE:
Inspect the safety belt D-ring cover for damage and replace D-ring cover if damaged.
Remove the D-ring cover.

NOTE:
During installation, make sure the safety belt
webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible
to the occupants.
Remove the D-ring bolt and position aside the seatbelt assembly.
Torque:
30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
-
Remove the retainer.
Torque:
53 lb.in (6 Nm)
-
Position aside the front door and the rear door weatherstrips.
-
Release the lower clip, pull down and out and remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
