Overview
Dimmable Backlighting
Dimmable
illumination provides backlighting to all buttons during day time. It
also provides backlighting to switches and control components when the
headlamps or parking lamps are on. The level of intensity is adjusted by
pressing the instrument panel dimmer switch up to increase intensity or
down to decrease intensity.
Non-dimmable Backlighting
Non-dimmable
illumination provides backlighting to the window switches with the
ignition ON or OFF while the ignition relay is energized.

Remove the rear door trim panel.

Remove the bolts and the rear door speaker.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Torque:
18 lb.in (2 Nm)
