Ford Fiesta: Engine - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma / Engine Mount. Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the degas bottle.
    Refer to: Degas Bottle (303-03B Engine Cooling - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) – Sigma, Removal and Installation).
  1. Using the floor jack and a wooden block, support the engine.
    Use the General Equipment: Trolley Jack
    Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block
    1. Remove the nuts.
    1. Remove the bolts and the engine mount.

Installation

  1. Tighten the engine mount studs.
    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
    1. Install the engine mount and the nuts.
      Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)
    1. Install the bolts.
      Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
  1. Remove the trolley jack and the wooden block.

  1. Install the degas bottle.
