Programming
NOTE: This procedure erases all MyKey® features on all of the keys that are programmed to the vehicle. All of the keys then operate as normal (admin) keys with no restrictions.
NOTE: This procedure erases all programmed ignition keys from the vehicle memory. The vehicle cannot start until a minimum of 2 keys are programmed into the vehicle.
WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).NOTE: To enter the PATS security access if no programmed passive keys are available, start a vehicle session using a tear tag or PCM part number. The PATS security access can still be granted even with the ignition off.

From the diagnostic scan tool menu, select the appropriate key programming procedure and follow the on-screen instructions to erase and program the passive key(s).Removal

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component to the left-hand side.
Remove the nuts and position aside the remote brake fluid reservoir.
