NOTE:

WARNING:
When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.
Release the cooling system pressure by slowly turning the coolant expansion tank cap between 2 and 3 turns.

NOTICE:
Make sure that no strain is placed on the refrigerant lines.
Remove the nut and position the A/C compressor inlet line aside.
Torque:
89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Using general tools clamp the lower expansion tank hose and syphon the engine coolant from the expansion tank.
Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun
Use the General Equipment: Locking Pliers

Depress the tabs and disconnect the upper coolant tubes.

Release the clamp and disconnect the lower coolant hose.

Release the tabs and remove the degas bottle.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
